One Flesh.

“In the image of God created him; male & female He created them.” Genesis 1:26

Eve was taken out of Adam, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:23-24 Through marriage, they become as the day they were made, though Adam was formed first [1 Timothy 2:13], but Eve was already in him. For as woman came form man, even so man also comes through woman; 1 Corinthians 11:12

And God gave them dominion over the earth, Not to Adam but to them. When Eve was deceived and ate the fruit, the fall was not yet complete. What they did they had to do in agreement, they are one flesh it is their domain. So when Adam also ate the fruit the disobedience was fulfilled. And creation fell.

The fall is in unity, what they have done together, in agreement with one another as one flesh. It is not innocence nor sinless state that brought Christ from the woman, it is just that man now comes form woman. For the sin nature to truly be conceived it needed both man and woman. As such Christ came from the seed of the woman formed by the Holy Spirit. If Eve’s sinless state was to be the reason then the following verse would make no sense. 

Adam was not deceived but the woman was deceived and fell into transgression. 1 Timothy 2:14 

Then what made the difference: If Eve was deceived by the serpent not Adam and they both had dominion over the earth. Why through Adam sin entered the world?

What Adam did he done willingly, giving heed to his wife, she presented him no argument, nor was he enticed by wisdom nor the form of the fruit. Eve could say, the serpent tricked me, but Adam had no such thing to say “Adam was not deceived.” Just that his love for her exceeded that of God, obedience is love. Jesus said “if you keep My commandments you will abide in My Love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and aide in His love.” John 15:10 Love is obedience, therefore God said “because you heeded the voice of your wife, and ate of the tree I commanded you, “saying you shall not eat of it.” Genesis 3:17

While it can be said of Eve she was deceived but of Adam it is plane disobedience. “Nevertheless death reigned rom Adam to Moses, even those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam.” Romans 5:14 While Eve and every subsequent creature was accosted by the devil to sin, that remains the unique feature of Adam’s sin: “the creature over the Creator.” 

“Therefore, through one man sin entered the world” And “Through one man’s disobedience many were made sinners.” Romans 5:12,19
