She Judged Him Faithful!

By faith also Sarah, herself barren, received power for the conception of seed, even beyond the opportune age, since she considered the One having promised faithful.” Hebrews 11:11

Paul in Romans writes, Abraham Not being weak in faith, he did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief. That is he gave NO regard for the situations in the natural, NONE. But he says Abraham was strengthened, that is he GREW in faith giving glory to God, being fully convinced what He had promised He is able to do. [Romans 4:19-21] Meaning just like Sarah, Abraham also judged God to be faithful. So Paul links the faith of both Abraham and Sarah directly to their perspective of God. Not only of His promise but who God really is, they stood on the person of His character.

Therefore how we judge Him concerning His own words makes all the difference. Faith hinges on this one singular fact where all the words of God meet. His character! This is what we need to take hold of.

So faith is from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17

Faith comes as a seed through hearing the word but we grow in Faith and are strengthened when we marry that with the faithfulness of God to stand on His word. And because we know He is ALWAYS faithful to perform what He had promised. We are then free to Praise and Give Him thanks ALWAYS with an expecting heart.

As Christians we have a promise of a rich life because we have all His promises, we do not have to wait for the skies to crack above our head with a booming voice, we have His word in our hands. God is simply waiting for us to judge Him faithful. “For as many as are the promises of God, in Him is the “Yes.” Therefore also in Him, the “Amen” by us is for glory to God.” 2 Corinthians 1:20

We most of the time approach life leaning backwards dipping our toe ahead. But the Lord tells us, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Hebrews 10:38 That is to live a life falling forward, trusting in God’s own faithfulness to His word. We expect God to meet us. The very reason He tells us not to worry, not to be anxious, not to fret.

Do you know you leaped forward when you trusted Christ and not your own works? This is the life God has prepared for us.

You have His word, so now the question is what do you think of Him?
