Breaking the Enemy.

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murder from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and father of it. John 8:44

When the serpent first deceived Eve, he did it from without. He had no access to mankind. But once they ate their eyes were open to know both good and evil. And through this act of deceit he also committed murder. Because through his lies he brought the judgment of death upon Adam and Eve and through it killed them. “he was a murder from the start.” And those born to Adam and Eve, were born in this state of awareness [knowing evil]. Now, he had access from within to entice them to sin through their flesh. That he might work the same work from within as he did through the serpent. Then knowledge of sin in itself is the state of being cast away, fallen. Since, through the law is knowledge of sin [that is knowledge of evil]. Sin is the serpent that takes occasion of the commandments and deceive us and through it kills us.

This is the state we were doomed to die in, until God in His mercy, brought to pass His plan. That Israel became the foothold of God through which God mounted an invasion for the whole world, [as He proclaims saying “Israel is My first born.”] To restore the dominion of the earth to mankind through Christ. He first separated Israel for Himself, through the covenant of the Law. The enmity that then existed is in the flesh, according to the letter of the law [written on table of stone]. Between those who did not know God, and were in the dark and those who were brought close to God, through the law. The separation made clear in the circumcision of the flesh.

However, the entire world was of the seed of the serpent “for you are of your father the devil” and “you being evil know how to give good gifts” Jesus is speaking of the nature of the flesh we belonged to. But through the work of the cross, we were taken out of the flesh and brought into the Spirit, from the power of darkness to the kingdom of God.  As Jesus prayed saying: “they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.” John 17:16 and Paul also teaches saying, “But you are not of the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you.” Romans 8:9 Now the enmity is between the flesh and Spirit. As it says, “he who is born according to the flesh persecuted him he who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now.” Galatians 4:29 That service [worship] to God, is no longer to be offered in the flesh according to the letter of the law but in newness of Spirit. As Jesus also taught saying, “God is Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24

Then, through the working of the law no flesh will be justified. It is not that there is anything wrong with the law; since “the law is holy and the commandment holy and just and good,” Romans 7:12Then the problem must be the means by which it is offered; The Law which is spiritual, perfect and good could only find its fulfilment in Jesus, the heavenly Man.

Reason for the Plan.

God always wants to deal with us with His grace. But thorough the fall of man Satan had acquired the power of death through sin. “just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.” Romans 5:12 Satan whose abode was in the havens was able to go and come as he pleased. As it is recorded in the book of Job, “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.” Job 1:6 That he did not slip into haven under the cover of darkness, nor did he seek to disguise himself in a cloak. But was able to come before God and bring accusation against the brethren and expect judgment and death upon mankind, for man was sold under his domain.

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. Zechariah 3:1

The Lord also speaks of David when he greatly sinned saying: “Because you gave occasion for the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme..” 2 Samuel 11:14 Who is the enemy of the Lord if not Satan. He was making accusation against David [His chosen], demanding satisfaction in the measure of the Law. Not until the work of Calvary [the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ] was his place revoked, and judgment finally fell upon him. War broke out in haven and he and his angles were cast down to the earth.

And when He [the Holy Spirit] has come, He will convict the world of sin, and righteousness, and judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. John 16:8-11

And war broke out in haven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angles fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in haven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angles were cast out with him.  Revelation12:7-9

Prior to Calvary, all who died did not entered into haven, they were separated from God, and the only two that did [Enoch and Elijah] were both taken alive. Until the cross, the keys of death and hades were set firmly in his hand, it was his dominion. But once Christ shade His blood on the cross, the sins of the world was atoned for and Satan’s accusation found no place in haven. When Christ rose from the dead, He has won the keys of death and hades form his hand and revoked his power. Jesus said, “Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth – those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.” John 5:28-29 Now, the power and grip of the enemy was broken, haven for first time was populated, with those who accepted the work of Christ. 

Now salvation and strength and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of the our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
