Dead in Spirit? Part 2.

This the second part of our study to examine the term, "spiritually dead." Is mankind born spiritually dead on the account of Adam's sin? In the first section we have shown how the spirit in Adam, was not dead from the perspective of the fall. Here we hope to demonstrate the state of the spirit in mankind from the perspective of salvation in Jesus Christ. 

A New Human Spirit? 

The prophecies of Jeremiah and Ezekiel give insight into what God had planned from the beginning in the redemption of mankind. They both describe the state of the new human nature under a new covenant. We have applied these prophecies to address the questions of, “dead in spirit” and "is the human spirit recreated in the new birth?”

Humility as in our perception of it. There are many whom we consider to be humble, God would consider proud. And there are many whom we consider to be arrogant and boastful, but are humble in sight of God.
